Best Laser Hair Removal Service for Deep Skin

While there are many spas that offer laser-hair removal, they aren't always performed by qualified or licensed laser techs, as licensing requirements vary by state, and some states have no requirements at all. But I'm personally the biggest fan of their laser-hair removal service. First of all, the pricing is v transparent and didn't require me to ask a ton of questions and practically sign my life away to figure out how much everything would cost. Our team did the very hard work of testing all the top-rated laser-hair removal studios. Use of this mask helps strengthen the internal bonds of the hair, repairs split ends and prevents hair damage.

And hair which has been truly well lifted, and just needs blonde refreshing, then ammonia-free Blondify gel toners would be great. The Bond Protect in the bleach means that the hair is protected during the bleaching process with Maleic acid and strengthened. A quality bleach is generally the first and the most important part of color correction. From a stylist's point of view, a color correction case like the above is a truly major thing. A color correction is any coloring involving major color transformation.

If you have dark hair, are brunette and have red tones in your hair, or have red and brassy tones, consider using a green shampoo because it will counteract the red, says O’Connor. There are hundreds of hair-color remover videos on TikTok, which makes sense considering the observable (and satisfying) benefits. "Used permanent dye and got a frightful shade of strawberry. This product completely removed dye and was able to re-dye immediately." If you’re looking to lift a pastel or bright color, the Joico Hair Color Intensity Eraser will get your hair ready for its next color in 30 minutes or less. The formula includes keratin, which will help keep your locks healthy during the process. "The only other time I've tried to strip color out of my hair was with bleach (professionally done), and I ended up with a lot of broken strands." Keep in mind that this has a strong scent. Lee calls this a heavy-duty hair color remover; use it for hard-to-remove permanent shades (think blacks and reds). You can also mix it with water to remove less intense color or use it with a developer, purchased separately, for more complete removal. Despite its strength, it's also infused with avocado oil, bamboo oil, and a protective complex to moisturize and minimize damage and breakage—always a good thing when you're coloring your hair on the regular.

How to Find Infallible Foundation Shades That Match Your Skin Tone

This is a favorite for many professional hairstylists, including Wright. "Mix it with water and you apply it after you shampoo the hair with a cleansing shampoo." It can lift your hair one to three shades, all while keeping your natural hair pigment intact. Plus, the packets are easy to use and you see results within minutes. Most color remover products cause chemical reactions that can affect your hair’s condition.

Although not a guarantee, it is not uncommon for hair to regrow down the line. Not only is laser-hair removal a major time saver for busy professionals, but it also helps you save hundreds of dollars on shaving products over your lifetime (those razors add up!). While no two laser technicians are the same, many reviewers praise the comforting and personable yet professional staff at Milan, who take the time to address any questions you may have. Sometimes when you think of laser hair removal spaces, you may envision stale med-spas with fluorescent lighting and a very clinical feel.

Blue is the best color for these orange-y tones because it counteracts and neutralizes it, says Byrd. These quick, easy-to-use wipes will remove color from your skin without irritation. In most cases, when hair is healthy, it’s okay to color it again immediately after removing color, but it can skew the color and make hair feel too dark. “It’s never a pretty color underneath, and it usually takes a lot of corrective color after,” Hazan warns. Color balancing products are typically very mild and do not contain bleaching agents that irritate or burn the skin. If you have known allergies or sensitive skin, a gentle product is the least likely to cause a reaction.

But what happens when we accidentally mess up our DIY color job and hate the results? Well, we need some patience, for sure — as well as the best hair color remover we can find, which, bonus, typically cost only $20 and under. Yes, color-depositing shampoos can work on natural and dyed hair. However, you must use the right tone for your hair, says O’Connor. For example, if you have naturally dark brown hair, a green shampoo would be best since red is the undertone in dark brown hair, and green counteracts enhance color and remove any brassiness, she says.

Kolor Killer effectively removes hair color from the skin, but it can also be used to remove dye from hard surfaces, such as countertops and cabinets. Kolor Killer comes in a convenient wipe format for quick color removal. The included can stores up to 100 wipes at a time and is designed for easy, one-handed dispensing. Unlike other color-depositing conditioners, Color Corrector works in just 10 minutes and only needs to be used once per week.

Six months later, Randy is still there and Blake and Sarah are fed up. Randy organizes an orgy, and when Blake tries to stop them he is drugged and destroys a gazebo shooting fireworks into the sky. Following the incident, Blake is arrested by corrupt cops, who are friends of Randy. The corrupt cops allow Randy to get a restraining order from Blake.

Pictures — which are producing and distributing the film, respectively — are both owned by CNN's parent company, Warner Bros. Rent actress Rosario Dawson, who is very active in politics and even dated New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker for two years, will appear at the White House Correspondents' Dinner for the second year in a row as a guest of ABC News. As Hulu's Only Murders in the Building teases its upcoming fourth season, in which Randolph may reprise her role as Detective Dee Williams, ABC is no doubt excited to bring her along. It initially lands on the million dollar jackpot, but then falls and lands on $5,000, much to the mafia don's dismay and Kevin's delight. During the closing credits, Gary and Kevin sing a medley of food based parodies of Christmas songs, as they cook a barbecue in the Youngs' backyard outside of a Christmas party.

One member ends up in the emergency room due to the severity of the bites. For the 2024 WHCD on Saturday, April 27, SNL's Colin Jost was tapped to deliver the roast of President Joe Biden — and he'll have plenty of entertainment peers in the room watching. Aside from the president, vice president, first lady, second gentleman and all your favorite news anchors, here are the biggest stars attending this year's White House Correspondents' Dinner. Blake and Sarah organize their wedding in the backyard and, despite her father's objections, the wedding proceeds and the couple is married. Randy puts MDMA in their drinks, causing the wedding guests to behave abnormally and cause home damages.

Her husband, Peter Neal, interned at the White House during the Obama administration, and contributed to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. Now, she'll get a chance to live like her on-screen character, attending the WHCD as an esteemed guest of Deadline. While the prestigious dinner (and the glamorous parties sandwiching it) is intended to bring journalists together, they have also become a hotbed for celebrity sightings, as media outlets bring along A-list talent in an unspoken competition of who knows who.

Ferrytale Dessert and Fireworks Cruise Walt Disney World Resort

disney world fireworks cruise

And if you have 10 people, then it makes it even more worth it. If you have a girls’ trip, you can split the cost amongst everybody or even if you’re coming for a runDisney race. Specialty Fireworks cruises off a unique perspective to watch fireworks from the water! They are a great way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or any accomplishment! You have limited guest capacity for an intimate experience. It really makes you feel like a baller and like you’re a VIP.

What is included?

All this said, one thing that HASN’T changed is the price — it was and remains $100 a person. Much like the cupcakes, these were nothing particularly special, but still hit the spot. Additionally, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will return for the holiday season.

What is a Disney World Fireworks Specialty Cruise?

I highly recommend making the Specialty Fireworks Cruise part of your vacation - it will be the highlight! Each time we’ve done this cruise, it’s been the most memorable part of the trip and it’s something we’ll continue to do over and over again - truly one of the best experiences Walt Disney World has to offer. Guests are asked to arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the evening’s fireworks showing.

Magic Kingdom Dessert Cruise or Party

Speciality chartered fireworks cruises begin when the sun is still high in the sky, and end when the night is still and dark. The boat sets sail 50 minutes before the fireworks, and there will be no further boarding at that time. You need to make sure you arrive on time or else the boat will leave you. To board the ferryboat, you will need to check in for the dessert cruise at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) to the left of the Ferryboat launch.

Lastly, you have two paid options that could easily be memorable experiences for you and your party. Try viewing at the Polynesian Village Resort beach, where they also pump in music for guests. Depending on the time of year you go, you may get the Halloween or Christmas fireworks.

But fear not, dear friends, we compiled EVERYTHING you need (and the things to avoid!) to plan the ULTIMATE Disney vacation. The audio from the show, which is usually played through speakers on the ferry, was a little bit hard to hear on the boat. However, this seemed like a temporary issue that resolved as the show went on.

Sailing with Virgin Voyages: What I Loved and What Could be Better

It is also the only place you can catch (or transfer to) the monorail to Epcot. If you plan to take a taxi or Uber/Lyft to Magic Kingdom, this is the official drop-off spot for that, as well as being the place where some of the offsite buses drop off guests for Magic Kingdom. Of course, you’d have to have a park ticket to book one of the parties inside Magic Kingdom, but you’d also get a much, much better view of the fireworks. For younger Guests, an ultraviolet scavenger hunt adds extra pixie dust to your evening adventures. Allow them to search for blacklight clues while waiting for the fireworks to begin. Additionally, the experience offers “Mickey Vision” glasses to don, further transforming your Happily Ever After experience.

Magic Kingdom: Seats and Sweets Dessert Party

If you have little pirates or mermaids with you that do not necessarily like the loud noise of the fireworks when watching in the park, this is a great option to try. When the fireworks end, your captain will take you to see one final thing on your way back to the marina - the Electrical Water Parade! Note that you may view the parade prior to the fireworks instead - it just depends on the scheduled showtimes for the day of your cruise. The parade view from the lake is so unique, and you can hear the parade music loud and clear. Watching this classic parade float by is the perfect way to cap off the evening. If you happen to be celebrating anything during your vacation, be sure to mention that when you make your cruise reservation and the Cast Members will decorate your boat for you.

We wouldn’t recommend it if this is your first time seeing the show. However, if you don’t mind not being able to see the projections that well, then you’ll be okay! Wishes is my favorite nighttime show at the Walt Disney World Resort, I could watch it a million times, I have already watched it hundreds of times, and it never gets old. While watching right in front of Cinderella’s castle is the preferred viewing location, out on the Seven Seas Lagoon is my 2nd favorite.

We’ve now done this trip multiple times and walked away satisfied enough but not blown away. It’s not a repeat event for us, just like it wasn’t the first go-round (yes, we realize we ended up back here. 6 years had passed — we had to check it out for you!). Compared to the first version of this cruise we experienced, the earlier version gets the edge for us simply because it felt a bit more coherent and planned out. Again, if you’re in the market for a dessert party, this will do fine, but it’s pricey for what it is and there are better options out there. For our money, there’s a lot of better ways to spend $100 in Disney World AND still enjoy the fireworks.

This experience offers the opportunity to enjoy the magic in a unique, relaxed environment. And all guests will receive “Mickey Vision” glasses to transform their view of the fireworks. When you arrive at the resort you’ll head to the marina where you’ll meet up with your boat driver.

But no matter where you view them, you will have the enjoyment of being immersed inside the world of the beloved Disney characters and stories that you have come to know and love over the decades. This option gives you essentially everything the cruise does, but within the park’s borders. It should be noted that this cruise happens on select Wednesdays and Saturday.

Start time varies based on the evening’s fireworks schedule, with the boat setting sail 50 minutes before the fireworks begin. Visit the official Disney World Ferrytale Fireworks Page for schedule information. At minimum you’ll be spending at least $500-ish for a Disney fireworks cruise. It’s worth it if you are celebrating a special occasion and you have the money.

We also had the music piped into the boat when the fireworks started, it was amazing. As an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner with MickeyTravels, my services are complimentary and I would be happy to help you plan your next Disney vacation! With a Disney fireworks cruise, you and your friends can rent a private pontoon boat to sail around Disney waters and watch fireworks. You have two choices of fireworks with Disney specialty cruises – Magic Kingdom fireworks or EPCOT fireworks. Your experience will include a captain, assorted snacks and soft drinks. On our cruise, we set sail from the Contemporary resort 75 minutes before the Magic Kingdom fireworks were due to start. Our skipper spent plenty of time telling us lots of stories about the sights we saw as we toured Bay lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. You are able to book speciality fireworks cruises to watch current nighttime shows at Disney World.

It also got crowded at the dessert tables at the beginning of the night, so pace yourself or head up to the second level where the large table is stocked. Created in 2005, what started as a tiny central Florida-based website and short weekly podcast that allowed our audience to visit Walt Disney World virtually has grown into the publishing company it is today. We focus on bringing you all things fun so you can plan your theme park vacation, enjoy Disney at home, and more. Boat rental at Walt Disney World doesn’t stop when the sun goes down.

To Book

You’ll also receive complimentary snacks like Mickey Krispy Treats, chips, and bottled drinks. An accident at Universal Studios Hollywood left 15 people injured last night. Listen, before you book tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you have to... Oh boy, planning a Disney trip can be quite the adventure, and we totally get it!

How do you book it?

Reservations are required and should be done 60 days in advance, as it is very popular. The best spot is to watch on the bridge that connects the two sections of Frontierland. It’s also great for those who want to give their service animal some protection from the loud booms of the fireworks. Some have had luck grabbing a spot about 10 minutes before, but this is entirely up to your discretion. Try to get to Fantasyland about 30–45 minutes prior to the show, as they will block certain passageways around and near the castle for safety reasons. So don’t forget to keep an eye out around the carousel, entrance to princess Fairytale Hall and Storybook Circus for possible encounters.

What is included?

Guests may park at the Magic Kingdom parking lot to access the Transportation and Ticket Center. Climb aboard one of Disney’s most iconic ferryboats for an unforgettable evening on the Seven Seas Lagoon. So real quick, we’re gonna compare this to an earlier iteration of this very same cruise (back in the Wishes days!). You can read the full review here, but the big thing we noticed was the shift in food and drinks. Previously, they offered about the same amount of variety, but we appreciated that the treats all felt connected to the surrounding area.

The buttercream on top was a fun touch too (there are even tiny edible flowers!). The pastry team will have a spread of international cheeses and spectacular desserts ready and available of you to enjoy. The fireworks are also subject to weather and can be cancelled. With this option, you get a lavish dining experience with the best view overhead of the fireworks. You will want to book it as soon as it is 60 days out from your visit for dinner.

Choose from a selection of specialty drinks available, including alcoholic options for Guests 21 years of age or older. Once you cast off, the celebration continues with a stellar selection of international cheeses and delightful desserts crafted by our pastry team. Plus, you can choose from a selection of specialty drinks themed to the sparkling shooting stars of the fireworks.

Disney World Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has held many exciting changes this year, especially the return of Happily Ever After, the Park’s nighttime firework show. This firework show returned following the conclusion of Disney Enchantment, Magic Kingdom’s 50th Celebration firework show, which ended in May 2023. Banners and balloons may be requested upon booking the cruise, and are included in the cost.

The boat is pristinely clean and waiting complete with soda, water, and a few light snacks. When you schedule your fireworks specialty cruise you will choose to meet your boat at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge. We chose Disney’s Polynesian Resort because we wanted to have dinner at their quick-service restaurant, Captain Cooks (one of my most fav quick service places to eat all over Disney World), prior to sailing. Your party will have their own chartered boat from either Bay Lake or the World Showcase Lagoon for up to 10 people. Magic Kingdom fireworks are bigger and more dramatic while EPCOT fireworks are more intimate and you get to watch so close to World Showcase.

Ferrytale Fireworks Cruise Details

Start by checking in at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing beverage before setting sail. Then let the ferryboat’s crew regale you with an entertaining backstory of the vessel’s magic. Most of the treats were pretty uninspired — a basic brownie, a basic cupcake, etc, BUT some were pretty unique. We really enjoyed the creative interactive portion of the mousse dessert and some, like the panna cotta, were quite pretty. That’s fine, but previously it was a fun light-up plastic champagne flute that was really neat to carry around the dark ferry. The cookie features the logo and was a nice touch to close out the dessert party.

disney world fireworks cruise

The Ferrytale Dessert Cruise had both its hits and misses for us. For the most part, the food was pretty good and the view of the fireworks was great (if you get up to a railing and can see clearly!). We enjoyed the punches the best and it was nice to have the option to add some rum and make our cocktail. Now, jumping into the “dessert” part of this dessert party, we headed over to the buffet tables to scope out what they had to offer. The filling was very good and creamy with that tart bite you expect from key limes.

We also saw Discovery island that was in operation before Animal Kingdom was built. I was also surprised to be shown the old water park, River Country. When you arrive, look for the signs to the left of the walkway down to the boats. I have done both and enjoyed them both for different reasons. This would also be a fun way to propose to someone on a private boat either alone or with close friends and family. Most people won’t keep those forever, so the cookie kinda makes sense, but it also doesn’t feel as “ooooooh!

Luminous typically begins at 9PM, but fireworks may have a later start time during peak crowd seasons such as the holidays, or throughout the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. Be sure to confirm the start time of your cruise when making a reservation. We were safely delivered back to the Contemporary resort a little while later with big smiles on our faces. Whilst I hadn’t considered booking a fireworks cruise in the past, I wish I had read a little more about it. On board the boat there was so much attention to detail for the guests. These included plenty of towels to use as blankets if needed, a tray of snacks and a cooler of drinks provided.

At points during the fireworks show, we found it hard to see (or hear) any other parts of the show besides the fireworks. And you know how much we LOOOOVE the Happily Ever After music! But we’re hoping it was just a technical difficulty on that first cruise. It was also a bit tough to get a good spot to see the fireworks (thankfully, someone was kind enough to share their spot with us). But if you prefer to sit or have tykes with you, you’ll need to stake out a spot well in advance to ensure you have a good view, and in the end, you might find yourself sharing elbow room with your neighbor. When you’re paying $100 bucks a person, you kind of expect you’ll get a great view of the show, but that wasn’t a guarantee here like it practically is at most other firework parties we’ve attended.

However this time we were so close to it on the water it was amazing. If you’re wishing to watch Disney Enchantment from the water, then you have a choice of departing locations. You can opt for Disney’s Contemporary resort, Polynesian Village, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness.

The 25 foot boat seats up to ten guests, and costs around $449 plus tax. This may seem like a lot of money, however when split between ten people it’s good value. You’re not only getting an amazing boat ride, but a skipper with plenty of Disney knowledge.

Cruise Wear over 50: Flattering Cruise Outfits for Women plus packing list

casual cruise wear

If you’re going on a Caribbean cruise, it’s perfect for beach excursions. Wearing nice capri pants or white or dark jeans in the evening will look great paired with a pretty top. On a 7 day cruise, you’ll usually have 4-5 casual or smart casual evenings, sometimes called cruise casual. Footwear should not be an afterthought when packing your suitcase for a cruise.

Daywear Onboard: Chilly Days

This sleeveless maxi dress cinches loosely at the waist, with a flowing ruffled bottom. I have this dress is black and it works equally well during the day with flat sandals and in the evening with dressier shoes. It made a great embarkation day outfit, but can also be worn day or evening on a cruise. This long halter top maxi dress is gorgeous in both a floral print and in solid colors. It can be worn equally well walking in port on a Mediterranean cruise or to the main dining room on a Caribbean cruise vacation.

Daywear Onboard: Overview

You can wear anything from designer denim paired with a blazer to a cocktail dress with a killer set of heels. Since flip flops are not allowed in the evening, make sure to bring comfortable shoes or sandals to wear during dinner in the main room. Remember, the right outerwear can effortlessly transition your outfits from day to night, warm to cool, casual to formal, making your cruise adventure a stylish affair. Embarking on a cruise adventure demands a perfect blend of comfort, style, and versatility in your wardrobe. Whether you are lounging on the deck, exploring exotic shores, or dancing the night away, the right outfit makes a world of difference. While a large purse might not be necessary, having a smaller evening bag is essential for casual and formal nights.

Should I pack a formal gown for a cruise?

We love hearing suggestions from our audience and will add your suggestion to this list. Everyone loves bathtubs and spas to heal the body; this long waffle kimono is the best option for such activities. The closure allows you to adjust it according to your wrist size and preferences. This elegant top tank adds a layer of feminine grace to your personality. I love its lightweight design; it can be easily packed into the bag. This v neck swimsuit cover up is very flattering over a one piece or bikini.

Especially if you’re a business person or want to look more sexy, this Ruffle sleeve pencil dress is the finest choice. I’m Zoe, and as a woman, I know how important it is for us to look perfect on our dream vacations. While most of these dresses are best for warm weather tropical cruises, I’ve included some long sleeve dresses that would work well for cooler weather itineraries as well. Along with sunscreen and lip balm, a good sunhat is definitely a cruise essential. This one piece Cupshe brand bathing suit has tummy control and is very flattering on real women’s bodies.

Casual Dining

These are versatile for sunbathing on the pool deck and spontaneous pool or jacuzzi dips. A bathing suit is also essential for beaches and water activities at port. A little black dress is always appropriate for cruise formal nights, however the lace detail on this dress just adds an extra touch of elegance. Like most of the other dresses in this list of cruise outfit ideas, it’s very affordable.

What kind of shoes should you wear on a cruise?

From breakfast on the balcony to exploring exotic destinations, choosing the right day wear is essential. This section will guide you through the essentials for comfort and style, ensuring your cruise wardrobe is on point from dawn to dusk. Embarking on a cruise entails knowing the nuances of cruise attire. As passengers, we navigate a sea of clothing options divided into distinct categories, each tailored to a specific part of the cruise experience. Casual dress cruises have reshaped our views on sea travel, offering comfort without compromising charm. Yet, the essence of cruise elegance remains an inviting prospect for those who relish the opportunity to dress up.

If this appeals, you can't go wrong with a tuxedo (black or white) or gown. Barbara Gerwit provides a wide range of sizes, from extra small to extra large, so you can select the cruise wear size that perfectly matches you. Of course it’s colder at night, and during the earlier and later times in the cruise season. This short sleeve tennis dress will make you look like a pro athlete and boost your confidence.

Royal Caribbean's dinner dress code includes nights that are formal, smart-casual and casual. Formal attire includes suits and ties or tuxedos for men and cocktail dresses and evening gowns for women. Smart-casual attire includes collared shirts and slacks for men (jackets, sports coats and blazers are welcome) and dresses, skirts and blouses or pantsuits for women. The dress code on Regent Seven Seas ranges from casual to formal. But in the evenings, the dress code is almost always elegant casual, with the exception of the final evening of each cruise (which is casual).

This style is available in a “sexier” version with a spaghetti strap. For basic T-shirts, it might sound counter-intuitive, but high0quality merino wool is moisture-wicking and packs down light in addition to being odor resistant. The smart casual dress code works for all areas of the ship in the evening, including in bars and lounges and during shows and events at the ship’s theater.

The answer is that it is far more likely to be enforced in specialty restaurants than in other venues. You may also find that the shorter the cruise, the less formal even formal night becomes onboard. Where the ship sails may also play a role in how passengers tend to dress. For example, the overall dress code on Carnival Legend sailing a Canada/New England itinerary is more likely to be dressier than a three-day getaway cruise from Sydney on Carnival Splendor. On Celebrity Cruises, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible while onboard.

The key is to know exactly what to expect onboard and to familiarize yourself with Celebrity Cruises’ “Relaxed Luxury”. Here are some tips that will help you decide what to wear on a cruise to get ready for smooth, stylish sailing. The micro mini skirt trend is still going strong, and a smaller sarong can be an ideal low-stakes way to test it out since you can try it poolside or at the beach.

It’s also great to have for when you get off the ship on a port day. In the evening, a small clutch or evening bag can hold your cruise card, cell phone and lipstick. If you prefer a little more coverage, this halter top swimdress bathing suit is very flattering. Australian brand Bondi Born has elegant separates you can mix and match that run the coverage range. And for men, Fair Harbor makes trunks that can scream “I’m on a boat! ” (check out the Ozone) while also giving yacht club vibes (see the nautical stripe Anchor).

If you feel confused or uninspired about what to pack for your next cruise, we're here to decipher the dress codes with photos of stylish examples of acceptable cruisewear. When packing for a cruise, it’s important to dress for the occasion. Avoid having to go back to your stateroom to change between pool and restaurant by bringing along cover-ups like sundresses or shorts and T-shirts.
